Access Yahoo Mail in
Microsoft Outlook 2007
It's good
to have options. Here's how to access your Yahoo Mail account's messages in an
external mail program like Microsoft Outlook 2007.
- Select Tools | Account
Settings.
- Click the E-mail tab.
- Click New.
- It's just below the tab label. - Click Microsoft Exchange,
POP3, IMAP, or HTTP.
- Click OK.
- Click Manually configure
server settings or additional server types.
- Click Next.
- Click Internet E-mail.
- Click Next.
- Fill in the following
information or take the action:

- Click More Settings.
- Click Outgoing Server.
- Click My Outgoing Server
requires SMTP Authentication.
- Click Advanced.
- Fill in the following

Either way, you must enable either the SSL or TLS mode for the Outgoing SMTP server.

- Click Next.
- Click Finish.
